Two posts in one day? Bwahaha: Munich: Germany

Well I have solved my power problem temporarily, as it seems a Canadian in my hostel room had the correct converter that I needed.  I still need one for myself however.

My new problem is uploading images here, which seems to be harder than I thought, trying hard to make it work though.

Things worth noting here in Munich:
1) Everyone wears a scarf.
2)Lots and lots of people ride bikes.
3)There are two sidewalks, one for pedestrians, and one for bicyclists.  I almost got hit by a bike walking on the wrong side =(
4)There is very little room in-between buildings.
5)Canadians are awesome.

P.S. I should have bought a waterproof jacket or something.  Mother nature is punishing my non waterproof traveling ways.  I blame Mom though, I can picture her in the backyard casting some sort of weather spell in my direction.  I swear, the clouds even look like her pointing at me and saying "I told you so!!!".

Travelling is so educational. First lesson: Always listen to your mother (Bwahahahaha)

I'm sure you could find one of those little nylon jackets that fold into a pocket, or a poncho of some kind. (I won't even mention that we have numerous versions of both of these)

Anyway, I'm glad you're starting to find your way around. It's probably a bit overwheming until you get a bit of experience.

Gas has dropped to 108.9, so that's good.

When in Munich... get a scarf.

I'm off to the Women's World Show soon.

Love, Mom

PS "I told you so!!!"

Hmmm...pretty sure I mentioned the jacket thing and the gortex thing and the wet weather thing. But what the heck do Mom, Rena and I know we've only BEEN there so I guess you showed us. Oh no...wait...(I love being right)
I can also visualize the whole thing between you and mom:
You should take this

no

It will be wet there

No

It will fold into a little pocket

NO, I don't want to

You'll get cold

NOOO I don't care aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

etc.

Also, you should get a scarf. It will come in handy when it's cold and also doubles as a mysterious crud guard when you want to put your head down on the trains or other such places.

The tours sound fun. Keep up the good work!

Hugs,
Tiff

The only reason it is raining on you is because you have no rain gear. If you had a parka it would be plus 20 there, and if you had an umbrella/rain coat the skies would never grey.
