Nutella addictions are rough: Berlin, Germany

I'm just gonna go out and admit it now:
I'm addicted to Nutella.
How is it possible that I've gone my entire life without trying this magical condiment for twenty three years!?! I got my first taste of it in Prague, where I used to enhance the taste of my pancakes each breakfast morn. Over the course of my stay, I had Nutella drenched pancakes every day, and now that I'm in Berlin, I'm going through major withdrawal. If you have never tried Nutella before, do yourself a favor and get some, make some pancakes and go crazy!!

My Prague picture selections for Picasa are now complete, and fully captioned/rotated for your viewing pleasure!

Berlin is nice, but my knees are taking turns "hurting" (they feel sore/tender), and it's getting hard to get around quickly, even when I'm not carrying a pack. I suspect it may have something to do with my new orthotic insoles. My feet are great, but my knees have slowly gotten worse. SIGH.

As a final note, I would like to mention that the vote for my picture in Berlin will soon come to a close. Most of you have voted but just making sure you were aware it will end tonight.

Oh man!

The first time I had Nutella was in Scotland and since then I have been addicted. Laurena even sent me some from London after I got home (I guess you never found my stash in the kitchen, ha ha).

I also had problems with my knees when walking through London and going up bajillions of stairs. It kind of came and went across Europe so I bought some of that gross icy/hot cream that smells and a knee tensor from the drug store.
Try to give them a rest for a day by doing some sitting, see if you can find a bus tour or a boat river tour for a day. Also, when you are done touring for the day try to put your feet up and put some ice on each for ten min. alternating on off, it really helps with the pain(remember your old Scout training).

Well, I hope your knees feel better soon. If nothing else works you could try rubbing Nutella on them (mmmmm...Nutella...is there anything it can't do)

Love,
your Nutty sis (har har),
Tiff
